As a key member of the development team and will be the main interface among the internal engineering and operations teams as well as our manufacturing partners.Key job responsibilities- Develop test strategy, implement and optimize test setup/processes at the contract manufacturing sites including identification, specification, design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and diagnostic software.- Work with the Design and Manufacturing teams to identify and escalate manufacturing challenges by enforcing DFM and DFT principles.- Identify and report product failures to manufacturing and quality teams- Train operators on the process and support recurring certification programs- Record, analyze, and report process metrics to predict and mitigate process failures- Root cause process failures and implement corrective actions- Manage configuration changes and enforce configuration control throughout the process- Export Control Requirements: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.A day in the lifeCome solve the difficult and rewarding engineering challenges in developing a highly reliable, power efficient, performant, low cost satellite bus and payload.
