As the heartbeat of our payroll process, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient processing of company payroll. Your role will involve ensuring the accurate calculation of wages, tax withholding, and company deductions. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive statistical reports covering various aspects of employee compensation, including pay, bonuses, vacation, sick, disability, and workers compensation leave.

Key Duties:
Process company payroll with precision and attention to detail.
Generate statistical reports on various components of employee compensation.
Maintain accurate records, ledgers, and files related to payroll administration.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in all payroll processes.
Address and resolve issues raised by Team Members and Team Leaders promptly.
Create and update knowledge-based articles and job aids related to payroll.
Develop, document, and provide coaching and training to the payroll team.
Resolve complex issues escalated within the payroll department.
Conduct research on payroll anomalies, tax documents, and participate in state and federal audits.
Provide payroll support for accounting and banking responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years of relevant payroll experience.
Preferred experience in multi-state, Canada, and UK payroll processing.
Associate degree, technical college, or some college coursework preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and OneNote.
CPP certification is preferred.
Familiarity with Workday, UKGPro , and ADP Smart Compliance is a plus.
Advanced understanding of federal, state, and local payroll-related laws and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
