　　Description:

　　This is an Insurance Company that has a 5000-plus node network. There are approximately 1,000 workstations located on the state campus and the other 2,000 workstations located in 200 SDWAN-connected sites throughout the State of North Carolina.

　　A large variety of software and hardware products are used that allow agents, claims personnel, operations, personnel, and other departments to exchange information electronically. Senior Network Engineers' primary responsibility is to maintain and improve the networks at locations including Corporate Offices, District Claims Offices (DCO), and Agent's offices.

　　The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the overall company network infrastructure. The Senior Network Engineer is a resource to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and correct problems relating to day-to-day network/security functions; assists in the planning, policies, and procedures to support the organization’s network infrastructure; manages the deployment, maintenance, support, and upgrade for all network related resources; develops plans and implements the overall strategic goals of the corporate network environment and its security infrastructure.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Responsible for planning, growth, design, and implementation of the corporate network infrastructure.

　　Responsible for managing, monitoring, and supporting for data centers, LAN, and WAN networks.

　　Provide analysis and resolution for complex network issues.

　　4 .Work with the other technology and infrastructure teams to lead problem-solving activities and identify required resources both internal and external necessary to resolve and drive problems to resolution.

　　Act as a technical lead for the network team, providing mentorship and training.Skills:

　　Data center, Network engineering, LAN/SDWAN, Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Firewalls, WAF, load balancer

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Qualifications:

　　*A two or four-year degree in computer science or comparable work experience.

　　*A active OR expired CCNP OR CCNP level knowledge.

　　Experience in design, implementation, support, and management with enterprise networks.

　　Expert knowledge in data center technologies such Cisco and/or Arista is desired.

　　Expert knowledge in a campus LAN/Wireless, and SDWAN networks.

　　Expert knowledge and understanding of modern routers, switches, wireless access points, network firewalls, VPN concentrators, and modern load balancer/WAF solutions.

　　Strong networking skills in networking protocols including Ethernet, TCP/IP, BGP EVPN VXLAN, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP and RIP.

　　Experience in cloud networking is desired.

　　Experience in network automation tools is desired.

　　Experience with storage, virtualization technologies, Microsoft Windows and Linux based server operating systems is preferred.
