About Senior Military Systems Analyst

  Role Summary

  The Senior Military Systems Analyst will provide systems analytical supporting the Mission  Command Battle Lab (MCBL) Concept Development and Prototype Experimentation Program.  

  Responsibilities and Duties

  Provide military systems analyst support to Concept Development and Prototype Experimentation for the MCBL.

  Responsible for interfacing with and briefing Government personnel.

  Develop, implement, oversee, and improve as necessary those processes and procedures required to address and satisfy the Government's contractually defined objectives while ensuring high quality products and services.

  Report status, develop project-related documentation and implement lessons learned.

  Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions.

  Responsible for developing and accessing documentation in the form of reports, proposals, white papers, and briefings.

  Qualifications and Skills:

  Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant science or technology area from an accredited university

  Graduate of a military service school equivalent to the Army Command and General Staff College (Military Education Level-4)

  10 or more years’ military experience (Army/USMC) and comprehensive knowledge in systems analysis and design, information systems requirements determination, and operational architecture development.

  Service at the level of Brigade/Division/Corps or higher levels.

  Service at echelons above brigade is required as is knowledge of Army/Joint Capability Development.

  Demonstrated planning experience for complex activities equivalent to that of an annual experimentation program or experiment series that are comprised of multiple events.

  Experience with Army and Joint C2 information systems, Cyber and Space capabilities

  Knowledge of Army and Joint Doctrine and a demonstrated understanding of conducting and analyzing research and collecting data.

  Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams

  Proficient verbal and written communication skills and familiar with the Army Writing Style

  Demonstrated experience maintaining timelines and ability to work with minimal supervision.

  Demonstrated experience as a task leader in support of Army or joint capability development processes and requirements is desired

  Ability to hold a Secret security clearance.

  Other Qualifications

  Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills.

  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  Submit to required background checks.

  Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and car insurance.

  Be self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes.

  Be completely functional in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  Be able to travel as required.

  Ability to hold a Secret security clearance.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Master’s Degree or higher in a relevant area.

  Army War College Graduate

  Familiarity with Army/Joint Capability Development

  Previous service within Joint and/or Combined organizations.

  Familiarity with Army and Joint C2 information systems.

  Familiarity with Cyber and Space capabilities.

  Demonstrated Red Teaming functions and skills .

  Process Mapping and Improvement abilities to map and apply data/statistical analysis as part of efforts to apply automation and artificial intelligence in the future.

  Demonstrated experience covering the full scope of work: studies, experimentation, and prototyping.

  Experience in support of Army or Joint Capability Development processes and requirements.

  Previous Battle Lab Experience
