　　Senior Microbiology Technologist responsibilities include, but are notlimited to, the following:

　　Following prescribed procedures, performing any of the tests within any ofthe laboratory specialties, calculating the results of the tests performedas necessaryOperating, calibrating, conducting performance checks, and maintainingany laboratory analyzers or equipmentRecognizing and correcting basic analyzer malfunctions; notifyingmanagement personnel when appropriatePreparing reagents or media from a prescribed procedureEvaluating media, reagents, and calibrators according to establishedcriteriaConducting established quality control procedures on analytical tests,equipment, reagents, media, and products; evaluating results ofquality control and implements corrective action when indicatedAbility to interface with internal and external customers includingphysicians, client quality assurance, and executive directorsCollect and analyze data for scientific publications, abstracts, andpresentationsProactively searches for process improvements, preventative actions, andopportunities to increase efficiencyMonitoring safety programs in compliance with laboratory regulationsUtilizes laboratory information systems or other methods to accurately andeffectively report patient resultsTraining of new employeesLead validation activities of new tests assays and processesComfortable in interacting with inspectors (regulatory bodies; clients)Active participation in QMS program: Specimen investigations andinvestigation summaries.Collect and analyze data for scientific publications, abstract, andpresentationsSupports Eurofins DPT's business philosophy, leadership values, and ethicsIn order to meet Eurofins DPT's quality policy and objectives, allemployees are expected to meet basic expectations of Eurofins DPT's qualitymanagement system including, but not limited to good workmanship,adherence to standard operational procedures, training,good documentationpractices, and accurate recordkeeping.The ideal candidate would possess:
