Job Description About This Role
The Senior Market Access Manager will be at the forefront of shaping optimal patient access to Biogen's portfolio, spanning Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), and cutting-edge pipeline products.
You'll spearhead the strategic pricing and lifecycle management of the existing portfolio, driving revenue growth and maximizing product impact. Furthermore, the role involves pioneering reimbursement strategies for new products, facilitating their successful entry into the market.
You will be working in a small and dedicated team – and you should be able to work both independently and in strong alignment with colleagues. Your expertise in providing clear, actionable Market Access advice is pivotal. You'll distill complexities, prioritize crucial issues, and guide the company towards optimized access strategies, making a tangible impact on patient access to groundbreaking therapies.

What You’ll Do
General Responsibilities
Co-draft and execute MAx strategy for the portfolio and pipeline products.Act as MAx business partner for the current and pipeline products.Collaborate with Commercial, Medical, and Finance for access strategies.Ensure compliance working with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory departments.Maintain alignment with international colleagues. Strategic Pricing and Lifecycle Management
Strategic pricing of the current portfolio.Developing tender strategies and executing against competitive products.Managing the life cycle of existing products.Collaborating on local pricing and reimbursement strategies.Preparation of Reimbursement Strategies Drafting and executing pricing & reimbursement submission procedures for new products.
Collaboration with international colleagues on economic models.Driving strategic input through horizon scanning meetings.Developing robust negotiation pathways. Monitoring Relevant Developments
Monitoring healthcare policies, stakeholder needs, and market movements.Engaging with payer segments to integrate their viewpoint into launch planning.Participation in relevant industry associations. Who You Are
As an ideal candidate, you bring a strong technical understanding of pricing, reimbursement, and access in the Netherlands, bolstered by demonstrated experience in market access, health economics, and public affairs. Your passion for pioneering affiliate market access strategies and making a tangible difference in patients' lives is the driving force behind your commitment.
Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in Market Access FunctionUniversity level, pref. in (Health) Economics and Pharmacy is required for this position.Ability to work independently and effectivel plan own time and schedule – as well as an ability to prioritize effectively.A proven track record of access successes (both HTA and payer negotiations). Experience in launching a new therapeutic area desirable. Experience in direct interaction with local payers (Zorginstituut, Ministry of Health, Health Insurance companies and other relevant parties) at all levels.Ability to present complex matters in a clear way – and to distinguish between main and side issues.A strong communicator – both internally and externally.Result driven and always looking for creative solutions.Knowledge of NL healthcare legislation and the pharmaceutical marketTeam player, also within a cross-functional team.Fluent in Dutch and English.
