  Job Description Visa Direct is a global real-time money movement platform that facilitates consumer and business funded use-cases such as person-to-person (P2P) transfer, person to micro-business transfer (e.g. payouts to shared economy providers), funds disbursement (e.g. insurance claim disbursements and earned wage access), and more.  The push payments market is estimated to be more than 80 trillion dollars of payment volume globally – replacing cash, checks, and slow bank transfers with real-time money movement. A robust, multifaceted enabler ecosystem is a key element for growth as they are how merchants originates Visa Direct transactions and services.

  The North America (N.A.) Visa Direct Bank Sponsor Growth team is focused on enabling and growing a diverse and strong Visa Direct ecosystem by powering Visa Direct payments through traditional and alternative enablement channels such as financial institutions, acquirers, processors, payment facilitators, software platforms, merchants, service providers and Fintech's. Our goals are to cultivate partnerships with bank sponsors in this ecosystem and help them grow and optimize their money movement offerings.  We support bank sponsor related activities including originator/merchant launches, enabling new payment flows, scaling strategic use cases, collaborate with various Visa internal teams and regions, and drive end-to-end optimization of program launches.  We engage with strategically important acquiring bank sponsors, enablers and originators that are critical to the success of Visa Direct.

  As the Senior Manager, Visa Direct Bank Sponsor Growth, you are responsible for managing and driving Visa Direct growth with Visa’s top Bank Sponsors across North America.  You will lead Visa Direct account planning, development, and execution of growth strategies with your extended Visa teammates.  Organizational savviness, interpersonal and negotiation skills are critical as the role will interface with multiple areas within the assigned clients’ organization as well as within Visa (partnered sales, marketing, pricing, legal, risk and more).  This is a critical revenue growth role on the Visa Direct Bank Sponsor Growth team in a highly visible position.  You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills, high intellectual curiosity to learn new concepts and business models with the ability to lead a team to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

  You will support key strategic initiatives within Visa Direct that include activating, growing and expanding push to card (domestic and cross border/XB) sponsorship with existing and new bank sponsors, enable and activate cross border/XB Visa Direct Account and Wallet bank sponsors and enablers, optimizing the end-to-end onboarding process with bank sponsors and enablers to decrease time to revenue and enabling and growing full-stack banks who want to process Visa Direct transactions. 

  Essential Functions: 

  Drive growth initiatives and opportunities, including negotiating contracting, deal approvals, support new use case and payment flow launches and deliver partnership presentations directly with your clients.Lead client account planning activities, pipeline strategy and drive opportunities across the larger Visa organization on behalf of your clients.Partner, collaborate and lead with accountability to excel with a growth-mindset by modeling excellent client relationship skills and demonstrating the Visa Principles.  Develop a deep understanding of our bank sponsor clients' industry, performance, benchmarking, and business to optimize and grow their real-time payment volume with Visa Direct.Collaborate with NA and global commercialization teams on the development of opportunity sizing for use case expansion and across Visa Direct offerings (Card, Account and Wallet) for domestic and cross-border/XB. Responsibilities:

  Own BIN sponsor bank accounts as part of North America Visa Direct and partner closely with primary AE’s (Digital Partnerships, Super Regional/Regional Accounts) on Visa BIN sponsor clients landing in between the top 10 – 50 in sponsorship volume.Find and develop relationships internally and externally with Visa Direct specialized sales, account managers, consultants and product solutioning to cultivate, enable and grow partners for Visa Direct BIN/bank sponsorship.Support fellow Visa Direct team members across sales, solutioning, commercialization, account management and strategy in streamline the end-to-end client onboarding (incl. bank sponsorship) to reach revenue faster. Areas will include program information form (PIF), solutions requirement form (SRF) and program request management (PRM) tools management and optimization.Collaborate with customer service (partners to support operational excellence and day-to-day support with partners and 3rd partiesTrack bank sponsor ecosystem and develop and share a monthly Market Intelligence report.Actively monitor and track the acquiring bank sponsor ecosystem (rules, recent events, partner news, conferences) This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

  Qualifications Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

  Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

  • 5 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 3 years in account management and/or sales

  • The ideal candidate will be an experienced individual that has account management and business development experience who is comfortable navigating ambiguity with demanding timelines in a matrixed environment.

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, Payments, Fintech, Management or Consulting in Financial Services industry.

  • MBA or Master’s degree

  • Significant experience in payments or banking/financial services industry

  • Demonstrated ability of leading complex projects in cross functional settings with multiple stakeholders

  • Extensive experience presenting and communicating across all levels of the organization, ability to speak effectively before the appropriate audience.

  • Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

  • Familiarity with the processes and core functions of Card Networks

  • Cross functional sales, product or business management experience

  Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

  Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

  Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

  U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 172,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
