Position Overview
As a Senior Manager, Origination, you will be responsible for driving theInvenergy Origination team's relationship with the marketplace and itscustomers and execution of offtake arrangements (Power Purchase Agreements(PPAS), Build Transfer Agreements, and Development TransferAgreements). The ideal candidate will possess the ability to stay keenlyorganized, communicate clearly within multiple facets of the organization,and have a natural curiosity to comprehend the broader picture of what ittakes to build a renewable project. This role would be an ideal growthopportunity for an ambitious self-starter looking to help fuel the growth ofone of the most dynamic and entrepreneurial companies in the industry.
Responsibilities
Maintain relationships with customers, overseeing deliverables withcustomers (proposals, presentations, etc.) and driving strategy ofwhat customers need.Identify new origination prospects and implement an outreach strategy for allproducts and technologies under development, with a focus on executing PowerPurchase Agreements, Build Transfer Agreements, and Development TransferAgreementsCoordinate with development, finance, engineering and other departments todevelop solutions for customers, including assisting in the development ofproposals and pricing for opportunitiesOriginate and assist with structuring and closing large wholesale powertransactions in coordination with Commercial Transactions teamDevelop and implement customer and market strategiesDevelop and maintain strong customer and business relationshipsPrepare and deliver internal and external presentations, webinars, etc.Maintain CRM software with latest status on outreach efforts
Required
Bachelor's degree in related fieldAt least 6-10+ years of relevant professional experienceEligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visasponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred
MBA (or similar advanced degree preferred)Direct strategy of origination team and related groups to respond to customersand create opportunities with customers for Invenergy's pipelineDeep knowledge of power markets especially the WECC market and its customersand associated transactionsManage direct reports (analysts and associates) to support origination effortsCoordinate with Development, Finance, Engineering, Legal and otherdepartments in order to prepare exhibits and other documentation to thecommercial transactionRenewable development experience preferredManage contracting process from creation of opportunities to execution ofcontracts and effectiveness of the contractsAble to Represent Invenergy at conference events with customers and industryparticipantsAbility to travel up to 50% of the time
Salary Range
$147,000 - $173,000
