The purpose of this role is to lead the development and implementation of an effective onboarding program. The primary objective of the Sr. Manager, Onboarding, Training, and Development is to reduce the time it takes for new employees to become productive, enhance the overall employee experience, and improve the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Your role:
Responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive onboarding strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and values.
Develop and implement an onboarding program that accelerates new employees' time to productivity, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to succeed in their roles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Learning and Development, and departmental managers, to identify onboarding needs and create a standardized onboarding process.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify gaps in the current onboarding process and develop strategies to address them.
Design and deliver engaging and interactive onboarding materials, including orientation sessions, training modules, and resources, that align with adult learning principles and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to onboarding, employee experience, training effectiveness, and incorporate relevant advancements into the program and provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors to ensure they are equipped to effectively onboard and integrate new employees into their teams.
You're the right fit if:
1 You've gained. 8+ years of experience in talent development, learning and development, or a related field, with a focus on onboarding and training program development.
You have proven success in the following areas:Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Analytical and problem solving abilities, with a data driven approach to decision making
Strong leadership skills, with ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing onboarding programs
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, Master's degree preferred.
PMP preferred.
