NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.

The Senior manager reports directly to the Director of Labs Strategy, Communications and External Engagements.
As a Senior Manger for External Engagements, you will:
Provide vision, strategy and leadership direction for Sandia's external engagements and partnerships. The External Engagements organization includes Government Relations, Community Engagement, Executive Protocol, Sandia's Washington DC office, and the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of key engagement strategies and relationships with the regional community and external stakeholders. The position will guide and integrate the work within the External Engagements organization, as well as ensuring synergies between the labs strategy and communications organizations in the CenterOversee and manage managers and members of the workforce within the group. Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition and disciplinary actions. Ensure that customer needs are satisfied safely and securely, through managing and coordinating specific deliverables, overall program and project plans, budgets, structures, schedules, and staffing requirements. Balance the acquisition and development of manager and staff resources, capabilities, and existing and future projects or programsParticipate in planning and developing initiatives and policies that use Sandia's science and engineering capabilities to meet national needsUnderstand the work of organizations and connects the work and expertise of organizations with potential beneficiaries, collaborators, and customersAssist in planning and coordinating a diverse range of strategic activities both internal and external to Sandia, such as high-level engagements on topics of high impact to Sandia and VIP guest visits. Qualifications We Require:
Advanced degree in relevant discipline plus (10) or more years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a required US DOE Q-level security clearance

Security Clearance:
