About the Department
The Cardiometabolic Marketing Team leads the US marketing efforts for Novo Nordisk’s robust cardiometabolic product portfolio, which includes world class therapies for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and other serious chronic diseases. As part of the team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our portfolio vision, business strategies, and tactical plans that drive our business forward. You will help to drive the NNI portfolio and Brand strategies to ensure the products reach the people who need them most.

The Position
Contribute to a highly innovative team engaged in capabilities enablement across Novo Nordisk Inc., (NNI). Lead the implementation of next generation innovation in support of Novo Nordisk brands and lines of business. Drive planning thru rollout and analysis of campaigns that build partnerships in brand marketing, launch readiness, mature brands, biopharm, Market Access, and field sales in a compliant and impactful manner.
Serve as primary contact for assigned projects and innovations ensuring stakeholder alignment. Manage input and direction effectively. Ensure initiatives are aligned to NNI brand and key stakeholder strategic imperatives leveraging comprehensive planning, campaign leadership, and effective implementation communications at all stages of execution.
Support and align with all EHR and Next Gen Capability Enablement innovation plans and strategies. Execute within recommended levels of investment and time to meet business objectives.
Establish thought leadership in EHR-related initiatives i.e., evolving solutions in alignment with our mission, vision and NNI guidance. Responsible for coaching and training other team members, vendor partners, and the rest of the organization on projects. Adept at communications and socializing great ideas and success stories!
Relationships
Reports to the Associate Director, EHR Strategy and Execution within Next Generation Strategic Enablement. Interacts with Brand Marketing functions, and work in close collaboration with Brand Leads, Field Force, Non-Personal Promotion, IT and Market Access partners. Other important internal relationships include Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Pricing, Product Supply, and Pharmacy. Will also interact with NN A/S on International innovations as required and lead related vendor partners.
Essential Functions
Contributes to ideation associated with innovation in support of brand strategic imperatives
Leads implementation of EHR and approved innovations maintaining cross functional alignment across organization
Leads the effort to develop and implement internal and external use resources in support of training key stakeholders across the enterprise
Maintains compliance with industry regulations and NNI Corporate visual identity standards
Leads planning thru measurement of assigned campaigns, including analytic evaluation of impact used to recommend next steps
Participate in PRB review across all assigned campaigns and effectively implement PRB revisions
Support EHR team needs to address eprescribing issues and facilitate solutions, as needed
Develop and execute research and training materials/courses related to assigned campaigns for key stakeholders across the enterprise
Identify, select and manage all external vendors associated with assigned campaigns
Support as needed NNI product launch, inactivations and acquisition listings in published in compendia releases
Manage enterprise communications to raise awareness and socialize EHR and innovation campaign implementation progress to key stakeholders across the enterprise
Assist in Quarterly Business Reviews to NNI Management
Bring a flexible mindset to leadership efforts realizing the potential for shifts impacting innovation projects
Physical Requirements
10-20% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of 10 years within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with leadership experience in HCP marketing
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point preferred
Good communicator, comfortable working across the enterprise

Develops accurate short and long term plans, forecasting and business analysis. Ensures timely execution and follow-up. Meets deadlines.
