Our client is seeking a Senior IT Release Manager for a 6+ month contract in. Will be working on an Onsite schedule.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree.
ITIL, Change Management and Other relevant Certifications.
5+ years of IT Release Manager experience.
Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Expertise in best practices in ITIL Release and Change Management.
Experience in conducting Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
Familiar with the modern release management processes based on CI/CD methodology.
Ability to work in an Agile / SCRUM environment.
Self-directed with a start-up/entrepreneur mindset.
Strong writing and communication skills.
What You Will Be Doing
Create Change Requests in ServiceNow or similar tools and follow the Change Approval Board (CAB) Process to receive approvals for Releases.
Facilitate Internal Meetings for multiple internal teams to align on Major and Minor Releases as well as Production Releases.
Release notes, approvals, communications, contact lists, and pre- and post-release verification activities.
Coordinate with the DevOps team for Release Planning and execution of releases.
Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.
Implement best practices and identify opportunities for continuous operational and team improvements.
Communicates crucial release plans and changes to both internal and external stakeholders as relevant.
