The Red Hat Internal Audit team is looking for a Senior Auditor, Internal Audit to join our team. In this role, you’ll gain broad exposure to global operations through the execution of financial, operational and strategic audits and develop strong working relationships with management and stakeholders.
What you will do
Independently perform internal audit planning and risk assessment activities, develop audit scopes, objectives, and work plans, including the selection of appropriate audit tests, identification of key controls, utilization of data analytics, and other audit techniques.
Proactively interact with management and stakeholders to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvement.
Evaluate the sufficiency of and adherence to internal policies/procedures and regulatory compliance. Recommend operating improvements. Prepare work papers, schedules, and summaries. Report findings and recommendations to management.
Clearly communicate plans and audit approach to stakeholders
Maintain awareness of internal controls and audit trends to assure audit processes remain effective.
Be adept in balancing the dual role of independent, objective assurance provider and consultative business partner; drive continuous improvement on Internal Audit engagements.
What you will bring
3-6 years progressive experience in audit or risk management positions, with responsibility for interfacing with management and external auditors.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
Public accounting experience required. Operational and IT auditing experience is strongly preferred.
Relevant professional certifications preferred (CPA or CIA)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly assess business processes and solve complex problems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrates exceptional leadership ability and team building skills.
Commitment to quality, willingness to challenge current practice and innovate, continuous improvement mindset.
The salary range for this position is $94,010 - $150,410. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
