Summary of Position
Niles Shared Services is looking for a seasoned financial professional to build out a core finance function. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position will be high profile and analyze all facets of the business, including finance, accounting, sales, operations, and safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Participate in and lead annual budgeting and long-range planning processes for divisions of Niles
· Create monthly financial packages for Senior Leadership
· Develop dashboards for senior leadership, including weekly KPIs
· Partner with Project Managers to create accurate forecasts for ongoing jobs
· Analyze operational results relative to budget assumptions and recent trends.
· Analyze the profitability of projects, regions, and segments.
· Serve as a strategic business partner to senior management.
· Develop financial models to evaluate new or emerging lines of business.
· Contribute to continuous process improvement; Always looking for opportunities to streamline and eliminate redundancies.
· Perform special projects as assigned.
· Mentor less experienced Business Analysts with path to manager
Required Qualifications
· 3-5 years' experience in a financial professional role.
· BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
· Construction or manufacturing experience preferred, familiarity with Work in Process accounting.
· Strong technical abilities, i.e., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL and/or other analytical tools
· Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills as it relates to data mining and analytics.
· High degree of business acumen.
· Strong written and communication skills.
· Self-motivated, high personal responsibility and integrity.
· Collaborative, team-oriented individual willing to assist wherever needed to ensure the group provides accurate and timely financial information.
