Description:
Perform comprehensive financial analysis for strategic decision-making, including variance, cost-benefit, and ROI analyses.
Maintain sophisticated financial models for forecasting and long-term planning.
Collaborate with business units for more accurate financial forecasts, reviewing and updating forecasting methodologies regularly.
Manage the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
Maintain internal controls for compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Gather financial data across departments, providing insightful financial performance analysis to senior management.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports, highlighting trends, variances, and key financial indicators.
Build and maintain monthly and weekly reporting systems to track and analyze departmental performance.
Collaborate with department heads to identify key performance metrics relevant to each department.
Develop customizable report templates that departments can use to monitor their specific performance indicators.
Ensure timely distribution of these reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Similar Field
5+ years of experience within Accounting and Finance
High level of understanding of general ledger accounting and FP&A
Experience performing financial analysis, as well as month-end close and general accounting functions
Cost and/or inventory accounting/analysis experience preferred
High proficiency within Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Strong communication skills to present and work with key leadership
Details/Additional Information:
This position will be an on-site opportunity based in the company’s Sarasota, FL office location.
The standard business hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM EST with overtime opportunity as needed.
