　　Senior ETL/BI Application Engineer

　　Job Description

　　As an ETL/BI Application engineer you will oversee the installation and maintenance of informatica and Business Objects across the life cycle of operating environments for multiple clients - some on-premises and others in the Azure cloud. Other duties include optimizing performance, installing updates as well as vulnerability fixes, and collaborating with the Development team. As our presence in the cloud matures, other ETL/BI tools may be introduced. This is a remote position, requiring self-motivation, discipline, and a solid work ethic.

　　Responsibilities

　　Install, configure, update, optimize, monitor, and troubleshoot Informatica components of larger PBM or MMIS systems.

　　Collaborate with other teams on deliverables.

　　Respond to tickets and inquiries within the expected time.

　　Provide timely correspondence on actions and status as well as meetings.

　　Perform administrative activities as required. (Mandatory training, time keeping, goal/performance activities, comply with all processes/procedures, etc.)

　　Be willing to work outside business hours to implement projects or system changes.

　　Requirements

　　Bachelor's Degree CIS, CS or related field.

　　5-7 years of hands-on experience with Informatica Power Center v10.x running on Linux.

　　Hands-on experience with Business Objects v4.3, or willingness to be trained.

　　Hands-on experience integrating Informatica with Oracle.

　　Basic networking technologies (ex. firewall requests and DNS, etc.).

　　Excellent analytical and communication skills with strong problem-solving ability.

　　Deploy, test, troubleshoot, and performance tune across system life cycle.

　　Resolve problems reported by IT support staff and end-users within SLA.

　　Lead upgrade planning, testing, execution, and roll-back.

　　Test, document, communicate system changes.

　　Participate in Incident Management, including "triage calls".

　　Monitor, evaluate, and report system performance.

　　Evaluate security posture and resolve vulnerability scan findings.

　　Work closely with application teams regarding deployments and troubleshooting.

　　Interact with application teams and software developers to provide technical advice and assistance.

　　Solid experience collaborating on workflows managed by the application teams.

　　Automate tasks using java scripting.

　　Experience in Setting up DR environments per customer solution; play active role in DR testing.

　　Willingness to work after hours for deployments and issue resolution.

　　Create/edit published system documentation.

　　Willingness to learn and support other applications if needed.

　　Informatica certification is a plus.

　　Cloud operating environment experience is a plus.

　　Healthcare experience is a plus.

The estimated salary range for this role is estimated salary range is $96,250.00-$125,000.
