What Software Information Platforms contributes to Cardinal Health
Software and Information Platforms is responsible for technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of application and information frameworks that Cardinal Health application solutions utilize.
Demonstrates and applies technical (not functional) knowledge of software development frameworks and business process configuration systems. Examples include (not limited to) java application servers, integration and information systems, ERP systems, business rules engines, business process management and .et development frameworks.Leverages fluency in technical languages, operating systems, application programming interfaces,>and troubleshooting.Demonstrates knowledge of software development life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.Demonstrates basic knowledge of infrastructure subcomponents and interoperability including (but not limited to) SAN, network (application routing) and compute platforms.Demonstrates knowledge of system information dependencies and end to end application transaction competency.Maintains platform or system health and availability requirements including HA/DR testing.Resolves support issues involving production systems.Partners with Enterprise Architecture teams for product selection and product capability roadmaps and information governance processes.Monitors and manages proactive maintenance to application platform environmentsdocuments and manages SOPs for software and information platform systems.Interfaces with business solution teams and partners on operational platform events as well as solution design needs.What is expected of you and others at this level

Typical environment: ERP 6.0, S42021/S42022 Hana, Fiori, CRM, SCM, S/4 MDG, Portal, PO,BI, Netweaver Java, Biller Direct, SLT, SideCar HanaWork as a SAP Technology SME as part of SAP Basis teamLead and perform technical hands on projects related to SAP upgrade, implementation, Enhancements including SAP applications (ERP 6.0, S42021/S42022 Hana, Fiori, CRM, SCM, Portal, PO,BI, Netweaver, SLT, SideCar)Daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of a complex SAP production environment.Capacity planning of SAP systems.Planning, installation, and maintenance of SAP softwareImplementation of SAP at an enterprise level and performing migrationsProvide expertise related to SAP and DB performance, HA/DR, and scalabilityMonitoring with both ad-hoc tools and automated scripts or proceduresSupport/recommend reporting, query and analysis tools ensuring efficient SAP/database utilizationDiagnosis of problems and resolution for SAP systemsSAP system performance monitoring, alerting (using Solution Manager etc.) and tuning to meet business KPIsModification of system level configuration to optimize performanceWorking closely with SAP application teams and other Infrastructure teamsInterface with developers and modelers for performance and data access requirementsDevelopment of standards and procedures for the SAP environmentConsultation with infrastructure teams on configuration best practices etc.Stay current with SAP technology developments and techniques, research new software and tools, proactively recommend improvementsEvaluation and utilization of software products to assist in the management of SAP eco-systemWorks with the Unix/Linux/Windows Administrator on capacity planning and performance tuning of servers hosted on GCP cloud. GCP/AWS cloud experience is preferred.Creates and maintains accurate documentation & Provides support to the SAP application team during development and implementation projects.Provides support for HA(High availability) & DR(disaster recovery).Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience preferred8 to 10+ years’ experience in related field preferredExperience/competency in multiple Software/Information platform technology domains preferred.Provides technical leadership in one or more areas preferredSeen as team 'expert' preferredAnticipated salary range: $119,300 - $171,100
