Objective:
Develop, implement, and manage all aspects of the Clearwater FL facility’s Environment, Health, Safety + Sustainability (EHS+S) program. The individual in this position shall integrate EHS+S compliance and ISO related management systems into all aspects of the facility, through teamwork, delegation and oversite. Responsibility for all aspects of the EHS+S program will be directed and managed to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, County, City and Company regulations.
Responsbilities:
Implement and manage programs, policies, procedures and processes related to plant EHS + Sustainability program and ISO 14001/45001.
Ensures compliance with RCRA, DOT/IATA, CWA and all other State and local Environment, Health and Safety regulations, and Bausch Health EHS+S requirements.
Aspires to achieve a zero-injury culture through visible support of the injury prevention and safety program. Using the EHS&S electronic management system analyzes incident root cause, trends and implements preventive actions and risk mitigation strategies.
Develops emergency preparedness and response plans to include drills, and acts in the capacity of Incident Commander and first point of emergency contact.
Produce timely, accurate and precise reports and documentation as required and assist in development and implementation of systems management.
Serves as technical expert during internal and external EHS reviews/audits, ISO 14001/45001 and resolving compliance and reporting matters and serves as lead auditor for local and remote sites or suppliers.
Creates a continuous improvement mindset. Assists with process improvement teams to achieve business unit EHS objectives and corrective action plans.
Serve as overall project manager for EHS related initiatives that will lead to mitigation of risk.
Provide leadership and training, meet day to day environmental and safety compliance requirements, and coordinate with regional/divisional environmental resources.
Conducts environmental aspects/impact assessment, ergonomics reviews, job safety analysis, industrial hygiene exposure risk assessment and monitoring and establishes controls to mitigate impact/risk.
Active facilitation or participation in safety meetings and EHS training requirements for all facility business units, contractors and visitors.
Provide environment, health & safety technical expertise and guidance to facility businesses and unit management. Remain current with all applicable government rules and regulations.
Interact with plant management and facility services ensuring EHS&S is addressed in all activities.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
Minimum 3 years experience in a EHS.
CPR & First Aid certification.
Experience with worker’s compensation.
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety/Health or Environmental Science.
Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Manufacturing background preferred.
Ongoing as per regulatory requirements: Resource Conservation Recovery Act RCRA; DOT and IATA Hazardous Material shipping; HazWoper; Emergency coordination; ISO 14001/OHSAS auditor preferred.
