  Job Summary:

  The Sr., Media Channels within Petco’s Retail Media Operations business will be responsible for developing and executing channel management strategies across all of our advertising channels, including offsite media, owned channels and CRM. Success in this will drive improved vendor spend efficiency & returns, increase brand visibility, and generate more incremental ad investment opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing channels, analytical thinking, and the ability to create and implement strategies that align with our clients' business objectives.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Strategy Development: Collaborate with vendors and internal teams, such as integrated marketing, offsite media, onsite, CRM and analytics to develop comprehensive channel management strategies that align with business and marketing objectives.

  Channel Selection: Identifying and selecting the most effective advertising channels on behalf of vendor investment dollars. This involves understanding the target audience, available inventory and the expected effectiveness of each channel

  Campaign Planning: Develop comprehensive advertising strategies and campaigns tailored to specific channels. This includes defining campaign objectives, messaging, creatives and timing

  Channel Optimization: Oversee the performance of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, content marketing, SEO, PPC, and other relevant channels.

  Audience Segmentation: Develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies for each channel to ensure personalized and relevant content delivery at the right time

  Measurement and Analysis: Define and monitor KPIs for each channel and campaign, analyze performance data, and provide insights and recommendations for improvements. Work with Data Science & Analytics team to operationalize experimentation and testing tactics

  Client Engagement: Work with account management team to act as the key point of contact for vendors as it relates to channel management strategy, allocation & optimization opportunities.

  Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets effectively, optimizing spend to ensure maximum ROI

  Content Strategy: Collaborate with creative services team to ensure content aligns with channel strategies and client goals.

  Stay Informed: Stay current on industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices in channel management.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a business-related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

  5+ years of experience in channel management, multi-channel marketing, management consulting or related roles.

  In-depth knowledge of various marketing channels, including digital and traditional platforms.

  Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

  Excellent communication and client management skills.

  Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.

  Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement effective channel management strategies.

  Proficiency in marketing tools and software

  $87,100.00 - $130,700.00
