As a member of the company's information technology team, the Senior DataEngineer is responsible for development, monitoring, and deployment oftechnology components. The position will participate in requirementspecifications with the business and will lead the technical design andimplementation of the evolving enterprise software and data solutions. TheSenior Data Engineer will work proactively with business partners andtechnical counterparts to understand software and data requirements and willown the development required to implement the solution. The Senior DataEngineer also provides guidance and mentors more junior data engineers as wellas providing guidance related to best practices.
Duties:Participate and lead in architecture and design discussionsDeliver innovative solutions that provide value to both internal and externalend usersConsult / partner with the business on current software and data prioritiesDocument and communicate proposed technology solutionsComply with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology andgovernance strategiesUtilize skills that span across disciplines and comfortably play differentroles in more than one areaDevelop and maintain data warehouse, ETL, data integration and SSIS solutionsContribute to and modify automated test suiteCreate and maintain data layers for consumptionCollaborate with DevOps team to solidify and enhance data-related CICDpipelinesTroubleshoot software for data accuracyMonitor data solutions to address performance and operational issuesPromote and demonstrate the behaviors consistent with CoreSite's culture andGuiding PrinciplesOther projects and duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other applicable fieldpreferred10+ years overall experience including:6+ years' experience in Data Engineering role6+ years' working with Microsoft SQL Server2+ years' experience in Software Engineer roleExperience with Microsoft SQL SSIS and SSASExperience with Data Lakes, Data Warehousing and scaling solutionsWorking understanding of CICDExpert in data analysis, database design, data modeling, and data testingExperience working with large, complex data sets and high transactionalvolumesWorking knowledge of API developmentExperience with AWS, Azure, RedShift, Snowflake, Salesforce and/orMulesoft a plus

Compensation:
Compensation for this ro e includes a base salary between $120,000 and$145,000 annually.
