Senior Cost Accountant

　　Summary

　　This roledetermines and implements cost accounting procedures and methodsfor Innvictis, while partnering with business members to support the operations of Innvictis Crop Care and Innvictis BioScience.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports.

　　Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly.

　　Performs accounting for price variances and overhead recovery on a regular basis.

　　Updates standard costs on a regular basis; sets up standard costs for new products.

　　Experience in cost accounting, financial accounting, inventory management, budgeting, expense reporting, process design, and ad hoc analysis required.

　　Examines and reviews financial statements for unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly. Actively involved in process creation and design sessions as part of system integration work impacting this business lines’ current ERP.

　　Strong excel skills required and experience using reporting tools like PowerBI a plus.

　　Candidates with experience in the ag sector, seed, fertilizer, or chemicals industries strongly encouraged to apply.

　　Relevant Experience

　　5+ years related experience and/or training

　　Typical Education

　　Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

　　Required Certifications

　　CPA or CMA desired but not required.

　　Other Information

　　This position requires a comprehensive understanding of Accounting fundamentals and principles. Work is varied and complex. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.
