Thisposition is ideal for a contracts manager who has significant experience indrafting and closing technology licensing, cloud and services agreements. Inline with our distributed way of work, we will consider candidates locatedanywhere in the United States and Canada.What You Will Be DoingThis role involves drafting and negotiating software, services, and cloudcontracts to closure while working directly with legal colleagues and salespartners. Duties include supporting the contract administration lifecycle,including responding to and inbound requests, contract review andinterpretation, routing requests to team members for response,signatures, and archiving, and maintaining confidentiality of workmaterial. There are opportunities to get involved in our implementation ofElastic's Contracts Lifecycle Management and serve as its primary systemadministrator. A proven track record of success in an in-house legal department, handlingcontract drafting and closure, as well as administration and management ofcontracts.Ethical judgment with the ability to function independently, excellentwritten and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use ofMicrosoft Word, DocuSign, and Salesforce, as well as Ironclad or similarcontracts management systems.Self-starting, proactive, motivated, adaptable person who can, withflexibility, perseverance and humor, prioritize and handle multipleprojects and recalibrate advice in view of shifting priorities.Prior experience working in high-growth companies is a plus.Proficiency in Spanish a plus; proficiency in public sector contracting aplus.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does nothave a variable compensation component.
