Job Purpose and OverviewThe Senior Financial Analyst will work within the Commercial Finance team and be a key business partner supporting Market / Distribution accounts with responsibilities in P&L management. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a role demanding proactive decision making & strategy guidance. They will be externally focused and business partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D & Commercial leadership at all levels.
This is a hybrid position and will report to the Jackson, MI office approximately 2 days/weekwith up to 15% travel.
What will you do as a Senior Financial Analystat Dawn Foods?Provide strategic business partnering to deliver profitable financial growth while providing a full spectrum of financial control.Deliver strategic & operational support to the commercial team (Sales & Marketing).Conduct pricing analysis at micro & macro levels.Analyze key business drivers & present clear, concise recommendations based on findings to influence business decisions.Develop business analytics to support key decision making & profitability governance.Support financial planning & forecasting.
What Does It Take to be Senior Financial Analystat Dawn Foods?Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and 5 years of financial experience or 7 years of financial experience with an Associate's degree in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.Strong commercial business understanding.High attention to detail.Excellent written communication.Ability to provide financial support and handle multiple tasks within an open and interactive environment.Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines.Excel experience, comfortable analyzing large data sets, utilizing pivot tables & charts, creating graphs, VLOOKUP, IF statements etc.P&L management, accounting, commercial operations, and supply chain experience preferred.
