　　Summary

　　The Quality and Process Engineering (Q&PE) Calibration Team is responsible for Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) calibration for Pratt & Whitney production gages. We have a rare opportunity for a hardworking Senior Calibration Technician (P2) to join our team. This position assures that all Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE) equipment meet the requirements as specified in PWA-Material Control Lab manual and other Aerospace requirements. It will support Quality, Production, and Non-Production initiatives utilizing CORE tools. Duties include servicing & calibrating M&TE, Capability & Suitability testing of M&TE, non-conformance investigations. Work activity is 80% bench lab work and 20% desk work.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Perform task prioritizations and timely and accurate calibrations for Dimensional Discipline

　　Plan and perform calibrations within the specified turn time

　　Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where some ingenuity and judgment are required

　　Interacts with other functional groups (engineering, manufacturing, management) on routine tech

　　Willingness to study and learn Metrology and expand overall knowledge of Calibration

　　Study and learn to apply Measurement Uncertainty

　　Manage customer expectations regarding calibration schedule

　　Lead process improvement for current procedures and processes

　　Create standard work and operating procedures

　　Perform technical tasks based on written or verbal instructions

　　Cross train in other metrology areas to support periodic requirements

　　Troubleshoot items not meeting requirements

　　Implement and support CORE and the Raytheon CORE culture

　　Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and continuously strive to improve safety

　　Work within SAP to update information on M&TE

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in Engineering, Quality, Metrology, Calibration or Advanced inspection experience; OR AA/AS degree or equivalent post-high school technical training and 4+ years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience.

　　U.S. citizenship is required for this position; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access and handle sensitive data required to support our government and military programs.

　　Preferred Requirements:

　　Bachelor degree in STEM preferred

　　Education/knowledge in mathematics or statistics

　　Calibration experience – preferable in Dimensional Discipline

　　Knowledge of industry standards ISO17025

　　Knowledge of mechanical, physical, and electrical properties

　　Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects and PowerPoint

　　General Competence pertaining to Testing and Calibration Laboratories ANSI Z540 Requirements for the Calibration of Measuring and Test Equipment

　　The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
