Robert Half is currently seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst who has experience specializing in web applications, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will be responsible for understanding and translating business requirements into actionable specifications for web application development and improvement projects. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and web application technologies, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements for CMS and web application projects.
Analyze and evaluate existing business processes, systems, and data to identify improvement opportunities.
Design and propose innovative solutions to enhance CMS functionality and optimize web applications for improved user experience.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
Conduct thorough system testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing to validate system functionality.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring the effective utilization of CMS and web applications.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate various systems, APIs, and third-party tools as needed.
Use analytical skills to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization and performance improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend continuous improvements.
Skills needed:
AA or Certification degree in related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of business functional area experience, including 5+ years’ experience with Business Applications
Ability to create very complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow
Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on CMS and web application projects.
Proficiency in Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) and web development concepts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations.
Knowledge of API integration and a basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with system testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing.
The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
$90,000.00 - $132,000.00
