  Job Description

  Ideal candidate will be in the Charlotte Metro area, but will consider other areas for outstanding qualified candidate.

  Finance Shared Services (FSS) provides business support activities to the business units located throughout the U.S. and across the globe. Areas of services currently include: administration and processing of Travel and Expense, Charge Card Administration, Accounts Payable; reporting and management of Time Entry; processing and management of Payroll; Cash Applications and management of customer support for related services; training Finance partners on policies and procedures; providing information for analysis, and managing vendors.

  This position reports into the FSS Functional Testing and Support Manager and is responsible for tasks such as SAP Concur Expense operations, configurations and administration including system role assignments; Control Owned Self Assessments (COSA), automation, Travel and Expense and Card Administration Knowledgebase articles and training content and leading Travel and Expense and Card Administration related projects. The role is responsible for coordinating with Sector Businesses, FSS, Finance Customer Care, Travel and Expense and Card Administration Teams, Procurement, Business Travel Team and Service Now/Automation teams to identify and develop opportunities for continuous improvement. Supports all audit activities including self-assessments, internal audits, and external audits.

  Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day SAP Concur Expense system operations across BAE Systems Inc. through system configuration, administration, operation and reporting.Responsible for establishing processes and procedures to ensure all expenses and payments are extracted and posted timely and accurately to corporate expense card accounts, employee reimbursements through Payroll, and cost to the various sectors' general ledgers. Partners with BAE Systems internal stakeholders to identify areas of improvement for Travel and Expense, Charge Card Admin and P-Card processes or reporting within FSS and maintain strong collaborative relationships. Including Service Now, Finance, Process Automation, IT, Treasury, Procurement, and Sectors.Supports and addresses any compliance or audit requests as they arise and ensure processes are regularly evaluated and tested to validate that strong internal controls are in place and functioning as intended. Responsible for mitigating any exceptions timely and putting in controls to avoid future issues.Responsible for monitoring government requirements and regulations affecting Travel and Expense, Card Admin and P-Cards, ensuring processes are current and continuously meet high standards of performance and effectiveness.Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with external BAE Systems partners such as SAP Concur, corporate card vendors, and the banks.Responsible for managing Concur Expense change requests and configuration process.Responsible for Concur Expense troubleshooting and responding to cases assigned to the FTS Expense team.Leads projects such as automation, continuous improvement, FSS and sector initiatives as they relate to Concur Expense.

  Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  10 years of professional experience5 years Concur Expense configuration and administration.Experience managing high volume Travel and Expense and P-Card processes.Experience with enterprise-wide travel and expense systems; configuration, administration, operation and reporting.Knowledge with enterprise-level financial systems.Experience in managing major Travel Expense Systems, such as SAP Concur or Chrome River interfacing with multiple accounting systems; payment extracts as well as interfacing with various general ledgers.Experience with leading mid-to-big change projects and initiatives such as Process Automation, Mergers & Acquisitions and Concur Expense platform refresh/recode.Strong process and systems skills.Able to articulate complex subject matter effectively.Experience creating Knowledgebase article content; creating and conducting training.Experience managing customer relationships required.Knowledge and experience with government contract rules and regulations including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines and standards.Development and working knowledge of Control Owned Self Assessment (COSA) program, Internal Audit, and External Audit business response management.Knowledge and working experience with case management application.Critical understanding of Key Performance Indicators, metrics, data analysis and data analytics to drive performance and process improvements.

  Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  Demonstrated experience performing accounting services in a government defense contractor that is governmentally regulated and compliant organization, specifically with DCAA oversight, is strongly preferred.Familiarity with large-scale ERP systems such as Oracle and CostPoint.Experience in a finance shared service with call center environment preferred.Experience with Service Now case management.Proven experience translating business requirements into service opportunities.Previous experience managing Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) implementation strategies for technology and executing process improvements within the organization.Strong ability to scale from transactional details to high level strategic thinking.Ideal candidate will be in the Charlotte Metro area, but will consider other areas for outstanding qualified candidate.

  Pay Information

  Full-Time Salary Range: $69500 - $118200

  Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
