In this role you will serve as the liaison between theIT development group and business units for the development andimplementation of new business systems and improvements to existingsystems with a big focus on WorkDay. You will conduct business systemsneeds analysis, formulate and define systems scope, specifications andobjectives, conduct testing, implement and maintain systems, and providerecommendations. **This is a hybrid-remote position reporting toeither the Cedar Rapids, IA or Madison, WI office. Candidates mustreside in either Iowa or Wisconsin. Job Responsibilities: * Builds andmaintains business systems using Agile principles and processes. *Relying on experience and general direction from manager, ensuressystems are operating as designed, evaluates system processes andprocedures, evaluates requests for changes to the system, developsrecommendations to solve problems and issues related to business systemoperations, and makes decisions involving detailed knowledge ofoperational issues. * Typically works on new, and less definedinitiatives to assess and refine user stories, collaborate with scrumteams and product owners on solutions, develop test plans, conducttesting, and implement systems and system improvements. * Voicescustomer requirements into user stories and documents using Agile tools.Communicates with peers such that user stories are clearly understood byall partners. * Assists service and product owners in communicatingbusiness system initiatives and improvements. Prepares communicationsand makes presentations on system improvements and/or alternatives.Communicates\' methods for using technology to improve businessprocesses. * Regularly provides guidance to less experienced businessanalysts. * Manages relationships with other IT areas. Managesrelationships with outside vendors. Negotiates the statement of work andassists in developing technology road maps. * Understands the businessprocess and establishes standard procedures to ensure business systemsare performing at an acceptable level of quality. Develops and evaluatesefficiencies of system controls (i.e., reports, queries) modifying thecontrols and procedures as appropriate. * Supports end users indeveloping moderately sophisticated reports and/or database queries andtrains other analysts in the use of these tools. * Handles inquiriesregarding the technical aspects of business systems by providingassistance to and coordinating work with IT staff and other businessunits. * Designs and implements solutions to provide functional andend-user support including end-user assistance, system maintenance, andtroubleshooting. * Develops and rolls out system application trainingfor technical, departmental and end users. * Prepares new and/orimproves system documentation that supports system initiatives throughmanuals, lesson plans and procedures and provides guidance to lessexperienced business analysts to update the documentation.
