Position Description:

CGI has an opportunity available to join a fast growing team in our health IT practice. This is a great opportunity to join a team that continues to utilize cutting edge technologies and expand CGI's footprint in the growing field of federal health IT.

As a dedicated member of the CGI Federal project team, the member will be primarily be responsible for identifying, creating and facilitating system design changes by conducting business and systems analysis and design at different levels of complexity; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing improvements; and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure system meets long-term business strategies.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Demonstrate expertise in Information Systems and be able to apply the expertise to the business by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of best practices

• Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project status and results

• Utilize formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, PowerPoint presentations, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitate project meetings and presentations to diverse audience types

• Lead and participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of pro

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 6+ Years of experience in CMS Provider systems

• Excellent Analytical skills, Technical Understanding, and Problem Solving skills

• Outstanding, proactive communication skills – written, verbal, presentations, and more

• Leadership skills

• Teamwork skills

• Client Management skills

• Attention to Detail

• Ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements

• Ability to understand and represent the needs of the end user in a software development environment.

• Strong consultative and advisory skills

• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Flexibility/Adaptability especially when working in a large team

• Good Organization and Time Management skills

• Ability to Multi-task and quickly reprioritize tasks

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

Nice to Have:

• Wire framing and mock-up creation skills using various tools

• Experience with gap, risk and root cause analysis

• Good understanding of IT infrastructure domains (data centers, network, servers, virtualization, storage)

For maximum success, candidate will need to be able to ramp up quickly and thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $137,100.00.
