  KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate or Associate to join our Business Tax Services (https://tax.kpmg.us/content/tax/en/index.html) practice.

  Responsibilities:

  Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate and operating partnership tax services including compliance, planning and research

  Prepare corporate, operating partnership and other tax returns

  Participate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations

  Coordinate tax research and planning

  Work as part of a multidisciplinary team

  Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:

  Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects

  Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice

  Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm

  Qualifications:

  Minimum one year of recent federal tax experience; recent public accounting and/or corporate tax and/or partnership tax experience required

  Bachelor’s degree, J.D., LLM in taxation, and/or Master’s in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university

  Experience with ASC 740 and tax provision calculations are preferred

  Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters in various industries

  Excellent research and writing skills and strong presentation skills

  Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:

  Minimum of two years of recent public accounting in tax and/or corporate or operating partnership tax experience required

  Experience reviewing and preparing corporate and/or operating partnership tax returns and experience with ASC 740 and tax provision calculations are required

  Excellent advisory and compliance skills with the ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
