Title: Senior Application Analyst and Developer

　　ALTA is supporting a DIRECT HIRE opportunity. We are looking for someone local to the Cincinnati Ohio metro area who would be able to come on-site to our downtown Cincinnati office twice per week.

　　As a Senior Application Developer, you will be a part of a tight-knit, collaborative Web team that builds and improves our client facing website for our customers. On this team, you will work alongside hard-working colleagues in an environment that is feedback focused. The end goal, which is continuously evolving while presenting new challenges, is the digital user experience. The work focuses on the digital footprint and our digital brand and our simple promise providing superior service. In this role you will also provide expertise to the self-service features of the site keeping ease of accessibility as a focal point in building Web service layers for both this team and others across the IT organization

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　As a Senior Application Developer, you will have impact on the organization through the following responsibilities:

　　Designs and develops applications with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, maintainability, extensibility, performance, and re-use

　　Provides technical expertise in the areas of architecture, design, implementation, and testing

　　Is influential and engages actively in building out a dynamic and productive development organization and continuously improving practices and methodology

　　Develop time estimates for project deliverables.

　　Learn new software tools and skills as needed.

　　Participate in test planning, development, and execution for integration and system testing.

　　Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues

　　Mentor and guide others who are still developing their skills

　　Participate/Lead code reviews

　　Ability to be on call in a regular team rotation

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　At least 4 years related experience

　　At least a high school diploma or equivalent

　　.NET languages, preferably C#

　　.NET framework and .NET Core

　　.NET technology such as WebAPI, WCF, and Entity Framework

　　Front-end technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, XML, and CSS3

　　Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)

　　Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles

　　Self-motivated team player who excels in a collaborative environment

　　Ideal Qualifications:

　　.NET languages, preferably C#

　　.NET frameworks such as WCF, Entity Framework, and WebAPI

　　Front-end technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML, HTML5, XML, and CSS3

　　Web Services (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, etc.)

　　Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles

　　Messaging based architecture, asynchronous messaging patterns, queuing systems

　　Developing SOA based services in an ESB framework

　　Test automation, unit testing, and code coverage frameworks

　　Relational databases and data access, preferably SQL Server

　　Progress KendoUI components

　　Comfortable working with an Agile development methodology

　　Strong sense of personal accountability

　　Contributes beyond job role and responsibilities

　　Excellent problem-solving skills

　　Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly and self-directed

　　Passionate about continuously improving organizational practices
