  Job Description

  Intel is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior AI Developer Evangelist and Community Engagement expert to lead our efforts in fostering a vibrant developer community and advocating for our AI products.

  The Senior AI Developer Evangelist and Community Engagement lead will report to the Director for the AI Developer Marketing Team within the Intel Data Center and AI (DCAI) group. You will spearhead initiatives to be a key advocate for our AI offerings, engage with developers, and cultivate a thriving community around our products. Your role will involve building strong relationships, creating valuable content, and fostering meaningful interactions to support and empower developers leveraging our AI technologies. Your technical expertise in AI platforms, languages, and frameworks will be crucial in driving engagement, education, and advocacy.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Developer Advocacy and Engagement:o Serve as the primary advocate and spokesperson for our AI products and technologies, internally and externally.o Engage directly with the developer community through various platforms, including forums, social media, events, and online communities.o Understand developers' needs, challenges, and aspirations, effectively communicating feedback to internal teams.o Craft compelling narratives and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of Intel's AI offerings.o Advocate for developers' needs within the company, providing feedback to internal teams for product improvement.o Collaboration with Developer communities to understand pain points, challenges, and opportunities.

  Community Building and Growth:o Develop and execute strategies to grow and nurture an active and engaged community of developers passionate about AI technologies.o Participate in community events, webinars, hackathons, and workshops to foster learning, collaboration, and networking among developers.o Moderate online forums, discussions, and social media platforms, ensuring a positive and supportive community environment.

  Content Creation and Education:o Create compelling and high-impact valuable content, such as blog posts, tutorials, videos, and technical documentation, to educate and inspire developers.o Collaborate with internal teams to produce relevant and insightful content aligned with developers' interests and needs.

  Relationship Building and Partnerships:o Establish and nurture relationships with key influencers, industry experts, and partner organizations to expand reach and credibility within the developer community.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to align advocacy efforts and drive product improvements based on developer feedback.

  Public Speaking and Presentationso Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetups (etc.), delivering captivating presentations. And engagement with diverse AI developer audiences.

  As a successful candidate, you must possess:

  Deep understanding of AI technologies, developer ecosystems, and emerging trends in the field.

  Exceptional communication, presentation, and networking skills to effectively engage with developers, partners, and stakeholders.

  Familiarity with Intel's AI Portfolio, specifically Gaudi, Xeon, Max series and Core, among others.

  Proven track record of building and nurturing AI developer communities and driving engagement through various channels.

  Must have a solid, recognizable personal brand within the AI Dev community, which you intend to leverage to engage the community through multiple channels.

  Qualifications

  You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in STEM or related and 4+ years of experience in technology evangelism, developer relations, data scientist, software engineering or a similar role.

  Or 8+ years of experience in technology evangelism, developer relations, data scientist, software engineering or a similar role.

  Primary concentration on AI (machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, etc.)

  Preferred Qualifications:

  6+ years of experience in any or several of the following:

  Popular AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

  Python, with a deep understanding of how it is used in AI development. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

  Data science tools for AI development (e.g. Juptyer Notebooks.)

  Utilizing social media platforms, forums, and community management tools.

  Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $123,139.00-$203,801.00

  *Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

  Working Model

  This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
