Description Robert Half has an excellent opportunity for a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at an innovative company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. You will have an opportunity for career growth and advancement within this dynamic department. The job site for the permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Austin, Texas area.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

　　Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

　　Perform special projects as assigned

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

　　Accomplish full-cycle A/P

　　Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Provide support during internal and external audits Requirements - Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　5+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

　　Proficiency in account reconciliation

　　Expertise in general ledger

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
