We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to assist in day-to-day general accounting, ERP support and training, and branch operations support. The Senior Accountant’s responsibilities include creating, reviewing, and recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and reviewing ERP activity for correctness and proper performance, along with aiding branch personnel with daily ERP transactions. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a strong knowledge of accounting principles to analyze transactions, balances, and financial reports. The ideal candidate has experience working within an accounting team and understands the importance of accurate financial reporting. Accounting Assistant/Senior Responsibilities

　　Extensive detailed work in SAGE300, the Company’s ERP system with maintenance, entering journal entries and reviewing account balances.

　　Provide technical support and advice on the SAGE 300 ERP systems for our teams in the branches.

　　General Ledger account reconciliations

　　Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions

　　Processing of approved Credit Memos

　　Processing of approved Job Cost Transfers

　　Monitor corporate email in-boxes and respond accordingly.

　　Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

　　Ad hoc reporting and project-based work

　　Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.

　　Support month-end and year-end close process

　　Assist other department members with audit requests and projects.

　　Accounting Assistant/Senior Requirements

　　BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

　　2-4 years of accounting experience related to the above skillset.

　　Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

　　Familiarity with financial accounting statements

　　Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

　　Hands-on experience with accounting software packages. Preferably SAGE 300 or equivalent packages like SAP, JD Edwards, Net Suite, etc.

　　SAGE Fixed Assets Knowledge a plus

　　Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
