　　My client is an established non-profit organization looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Washington DC. The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role would be responsible for preparing the financial statements, maintaining the general ledger accounts, reconciling bank statements, assisting with month end close, performing journal entries and assisting with other projects. This non-profit organization offers great benefits and opportunity for growth.

　　Daily responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:

　　· General ledger maintenance.

　　· Reconcile bank statements.

　　· Prepare financial statements.

　　· Post various journal entries.

　　Requirements

　　The ideal Senior Accountant we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:

　　· 3+ years of accounting experience.

　　· Non-profit experience, a plus.

　　· Experienced with Microsoft Excel.

　　· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
