As a Security Testing Specialist Sr. within PNC’s Technology organization, you may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations

　　Requirements:

　　• Clear understanding of AWS services and how they are used production applications

　　• 5+ years cloud, network, or application security testing experience

　　• Experience conducting threat analysis, threat modeling, or a detailed understanding of cloud-specific vulnerabilities

　　• Experience conducting penetration tests in public cloud environments

　　Responsibilities:

　　• Conduct manual and automated security testing of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

　　• Create and align findings to standardized risk ratings, generate testing reports, and review test results with stakeholders.

　　• Continuously enhance information security approaches and methodologies at manager discretion.

　　• Provide subject matter expertise regarding cloud security testing and engineering.

　　The following certifications are highly considered :

　　• AWS Solutions Architect Associate

　　• AWS Solutions Architect Professional

　　• AWS Security Specialty

　　This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

　　Job Description

　　Provides subject matter expertise for security testing capabilities. Carries out manual and automated security testing of applications, infrastructure, and/or platforms to discover security vulnerabilities.

　　Performs manual & automated security testing.

　　Performs manual testing to validate vulnerabilities.

　　Creates reports and review test results with stakeholders.

　　Assists in the design and implementation of security solutions and continuously enhances information security approaches and methodologies at manager discretion.

　　Provides subject matter expertise. Lead and mentor at manager discretion.

　　Knowledge of Organization – Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to apply this understanding appropriately to diverse situations.

　　Problem Solving – Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

　　Work Experience

　　Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
