Summary About the Position: Serves as a Command Security Specialist and Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) in U.S. Army The Research and Analysis Center (TRAC). Responsible for the development, planning, execution, customer service, management, and enforcement of a multi-discipline security program. May also perform duties related to Operation Security (OPSEC), Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP), and Physical Security (PHYSEC) as required. Responsibilities Serves as the TRAC Security Specialist and Security subject matter expert (SME), responsible for authoritative information and service for the Personnel Security (PERSEC) program to TRAC and its subordinate centers. Serves as the Security Specialist for the Information Security (INFOSEC) program responsible for interpretating security regulations and directive from higher headquarters to advise and assist managers with classification issues. Manages the daily operations of the Special Security Office (SSO)/Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). Serves as a technical source of information and assistance in support of the Emergency Management (EM) Operations Security (OPSEC), Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP), and Physical Security (PHYSEC) command programs. Coordinates, interprets, and reviews directives issued by higher authorities to ensure uniformity in the multi-discipline security program policies.
