Allied Universal is Hiring a Security Officer to work at a Corporate Office Building in downtown San Jose, Ca!

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Shift: Overnight, 11pm - 6:30am, Tuesday through Saturday

Requirements:

*Active CA Guard Card

*1 or more years of security experience required

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required

*Be comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time

*Must be comfortable dealing with high stress situations

*Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions

*Must be confortable dealing with inebriated or transient populations

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
