　　POSITION SUMMARY: A Security Guard patrols a Republic Services’ facility to ensure the facility is protected from damage, theft or harm that may be caused by intruders. A security guard is not armed.

　　PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Patrols and watches facility or office grounds to protect against damage, theft or harm that may be caused by intruders.

　　Walks or drives around premises to ensure building and/or gates remain securely locked.

　　Maintains a lookout at exits to guard against employee theft.

　　Inspects identification of persons prior to entering restricted areas.

　　Documents incidents.

　　Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　6 months of related security or operations experience.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

　　High school diploma or G.E.D.

　　Minimum of 1 year of related security or operations experience.

　　Pay Range:

　　$15.02 - $23.60
