The Server is responsible for performing various food service operations tasks including serving food at any of the hospitality facilities under the organization. The role ensures sanitization in compliance with proper food safety and organization's standards. This role works as part of a team performing tasks related to food preparation, serving, cleaning, and customer service.Prepares work area for daily operations by making sure the designated workstations are properly stocked and sanitized. Achieves the high standards of quality, production, cooperation, and service set by the company for our employees, guests and customers. Works cooperatively and effectively with peers and leadership to complete team tasks, serve as back-up for other team members as assigned and minimize customer service issues. Serves food to customers, ensuring portion control and adherence to food safety standards. Cleans food preparation areas, work surfaces, and dining areas. Monitors inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished. Assists in the maintenance and cleaning of the kitchen in compliance with all food safety and Hospitality standards of quality. Greets customers courteously, answers questions professionally and accurately and escalates issues to leadership as necessary. Operates cash registers or point of sale systems to process customer payments accurately. Counts and reconciles cash transactions at the end of shifts and ensures proper documentation. Works collaboratively with other food service staff, such as cooks, servers, and supervisors, to ensure smooth operations and efficient customer service.
