Typical work schedule: Monday through Friday,8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Engineering Division (Survey): Work as a surveyfield crew member employing such tools as chains to measure distance,plumb bobs, range poles, level rods and magnetic locators. Dutiesinclude, but not limited to: driving wooden stakes for grade, runningline and grade on survey projects, operating an electronic total stationsurvey instrument and driving the survey vehicle, along with othermanual labor as required. Term of positions: Tentatively late April tomid-December. Typical work schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to3:30 p.m., with overtime as required. Parks Division: Operate mowers,trimmers and leaf blowers, garbage clean-up, and custodial duties inpark facilities, ball field preparation, painting, and some heavy labor.Term of positions: 3- and 6-month positions available starting noearlier than April 1 and ending no later than October 31. Typical workhours: Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. StreetsDivision: Patch streets, mow grass, clean catch basins, cut brush, loadand unload materials, trim trees and hedges.
