JOB REQUIREMENTS: Care is provided at Stevens Point public schoolsbefore and after school for children grades K-6. The Site Supervisor isresponsible for the supervision, administration, development andimplementation of curriculum, program compliance, supplies and safety ofthe School Age site within the policies and procedures of the YMCA andstate licensing regulations. You will also have the opportunity to workin our full-day school-age care programs held at the Y during the yearwhen school is not in session. SCHEDULE Variety of shifts available(Must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week and occasionalno-school days when school is not in session). Monday Friday 6:25 a.m.8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in programs for children ages 5-12years. Most important, you must enjoy spending time with groups ofschool-age children, and have an understanding of their behaviors andgroup dynamics. Other critical competencies include high energy levels,patience, creativity, problem-solving skills, strong communicationskills, enthusiasm and the ability to work independently or as part of ateam. You must exhibit the Y core values of respect, responsibility,honesty and caring.
