The role handles complex appointment requests and requires extensive telephone communication, customer interface, and the ability to handle multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Enters and validates medical, demographic, insurance, and financial data in a timely manner in the appropriate system, along with creating accurate appointments.Provides support and back up assistance as deemed necessary.Handles a wide variety of patient inquiries regarding physicians and services.Identifies the need for and accurately schedules interpreter services.Meets productivity and quality standards as stipulated by departmental goals.Functions as an integrated team member and works collaboratively with other staff across the system to improve patient experience.Maintains a clean and organized work area.Will be cross-trained to perform other duties as assigned.Other information:Technical ExpertiseDemonstrated ability to use PCs (and toggle between multiple applications), MS office, and multi-line phone experience preferred.
