DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:We are looking for an SAP Intern who will assist the SAP Center of Excellence team with business support of their system processes. Under direction from the SAP team, the intern will have the opportunity to learn SAP processes and configuration. They will help solve break/fix issues, implement new enhancements, and support SAP projects. Other areas of technology support include supporting the department in purchase requisition creation, IT audit compliance, and other technical and administrative functions.
During your day, you will: * Learn various SAP modules through training activities and direction from other team members. * Collaborate with the business community and respond to issues and questions. * Define, Design, and Implement SAP with LB Foster Business Units according to SAP Best Practices and business needs. * Provide recommendations when there are opportunities for process alignment, simplification, and increased efficiency. * Partner with the other SAP Business Analyst and the SAP Technical Support Team, as well as the end users, to analyze, design, develop, modify, test, and implement, software solutions and applications.
This internship is available to individuals pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and having theoretical knowledge of business processes and the software development life cycle. Coursework in SAP products is preferred. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to learn but also work independently to gain skills and knowledge needed to support the business. * Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project)
