To strengthen our Finance, Control and Legal Mexico Hub, we are looking for a Business Analyst to complete our MX Financial Accounting Team.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Functional Relationship Manager for Finance you will be responsible for the deployment and support of one or several products within the Financial Accounting Product Group as subject matter expert supporting LATAM countries (primarily Mexico) on Treasury configurations, bank accounting, GL Accounting, Fixed Asset accounting, Taxes, Intercompany operations (trading partners), ePayments (complemento de pago) and SAP Order to Cash finance. Your role is critical to bringing innovation to finance by exploring new technologies, eradicating business disruptions in operations, and enabling efficiency in Finance & Control operations in LATAM.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support to Finance end users in Mexico.
• Implement finance technology solutions in line with functional stakeholders’ needs and the Financial Accounting IT Product Group roadmap.
• Support business integration initiatives including Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestures.
• Deliver IS/IT Finance project on time and with a high level of quality.
• Create solutions through the translation of technical requirements into functional specifications for the business finance team.
• Support Period End Close and forecasting activities performed by the markets ensuring efficient use and adequate performance of the relevant IT tools.
• Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
• Deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams.
• Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement.
Required Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area.
• Project Management knowledge.
• Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design-thinking methodology.
• Strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.
• Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies.
• Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements.
• Deep understanding of the IT landscape in the functional area.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting modules such as, Treasury, Fixed Asset Accounting, GL Accounting, Taxes configurations, Intercompany accounting, ePayments, Accounts Receivable.
• Experience with effective communication in English at different levels of the organization.
• Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
• Experience with other Finance related modules within or outside of SAP, Master Data governance knowledge is a plus.
