The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce Solutions that align with our business objectives. As a Senior Salesforce Architect, you will lead a talented development team, provide technical leadership, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable and efficient Salesforce applications. The Senior Salesforce Architect position involves managing two separate Salesforce instances dedicated to Fuels Wholesale and 7Fleet operations at 7-Eleven. Responsibilities include designing and implementing out of the box solutions to meet the specific needs of each business unit within the separate instances. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Partner with development teams to deliver project objectives through iterative delivery by offering expertise in solution design. Ensure defined Salesforce CRM architecture roadmap aligns with enterprise standards. Ensure development of application follows defined Salesforce CRM architecture. Stay informed on Salesforce releases and acquisitions to help drive CRM product roadmap. Knowledge of Integrations, 3rd party integration tools, ETL with Salesforce Promote the company’s technology brand through creative thinking, and constantly raising the bar of what’s possible. Use deep business knowledge of Salesforce products to drive solution architecture and analysis engagement for major initiatives. Evaluate current Salesforce objects and fields to validate the business processes, identify improvements, and recommend enhancements. Analyze current architecture for data flow and storage efficiency to propose strategies to minimize data storage in Salesforce and implement API integrations for data sharing with Third Parties. Design solution to manage end-to-end contracts lifecycle and explore the integration of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool if needed. Research, recommend and potentially implement a data backup and restore process or tool. Perform in-depth analysis to understand data flow, dependencies, and integration touchpoints. Assess and articulate the number of existing integrations that need improvement. Design robust API architectures to facilitate seamless communication between Salesforce and external systems. Address issues related to lack of automation, data consolidation, and standardization in integration files and propose efficient solutions for handling of import/export of integration files. Define and implement a data retention policy, including archiving old data and ensuring compliance with data storage regulations. Implement Salesforce Shield for security and event monitoring, including PII data masking and field tracking. Provide guidance on reporting best practices, especially when using APIs for data retrieval. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments. Integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) using Ping Fed for user authentication. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business SMEs, and security teams. Qualifications Education and Experience: Education: Bachelors/4yr degree Years of Management Experience: NA Certifications/Licenses: Saleforce Architect Salesforce Certified Application Architect and Salesforce Certified System Architect credentials required. Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions for large enterprises. Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools. Expertise in Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, and other modern integration patterns. Experience with the latest Salesforce technologies, including Salesforce Lightning, Einstein Analytics, and Salesforce DX. Solid understanding of security best practices and data governance in Salesforce. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 8+ years of CRM experience and 4+ years of experience in Slaesforce Cloud Salesforce Lightning Platform Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components Salesforce Einstein Analytics Salesforce DX (SFDX) RESTful and SOAP APIs Git and version control systems CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Salesforce CLI) JavaScript, HTML, CSS Integration tools (MuleSoft, Informatica) Experience in CPQ/CLM tools is a plus
