Aston Carter is hiring a Sales Support Specialist to support an immediate need here in St. Louis.
Description:
Process and document customer payments accurately and efficiently, coordinating with Finance, Sales and customers as needed
Deposit paper checks received in mail
Support Finance as backup for ACH payment processing and non-government credit card payments
Ensure accurate payment entry in inventory/invoicing system
Provide support for sales team
Maintain accurate inventory levels for marketing materials (print outs, clothing, etc)
Ensure internal sales team has sufficient support materials and replenish when needed
Maintain up to date records for employees receiving auto allowance, including drivers licenses, insurance records, conduct annual DMV records check
Assist with collection and tracking of Open Payments reporting for 1099 Sales Consultants, as needed
Communicate new and changing processes between the Sales Team and Customer Service & Sales Support
Assist sales team with admin support for NCEs and other administrative needs
Serve as company administrator for key shared services:
FedEx portal, including processing invoices for review/approval in bill.com
Liaison for headquarters offices, including ensuring mail distributed to appropriate employees
Support order processing
Process and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently via telephone calls and e-mail from the internal sales team and customers
Communicates updates on order status, inventory, pricing, and shipping information
Consults with sales, management, other departments, and outside partners to ensure orders ship on time
Coordinate and perform monthly consignment reconciliations for internal salespeople, customers and third-party distributors
Assist in troubleshooting order processing / inventory system issues internally and with vendor
Assist with the management of on-site product inventory
Help resolve any sales and customer issues in a timely and efficient manner, escalating when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
· Minimum of 4 years of sales support, customer service, administrative or finance experience
· Minimum high school graduate. Prefer college degree.
