Garden State Growers is a family-owned greenhouse and outdoor production operation on over 500 acres specializing in the growth and distribution of wholesale perennials, annuals, ground cover, vegetables, and varied seasonal offerings. We serve large retailers who sell plants in sizable quantities, as well as garden centers, supermarkets and small retail businesses.
We are currently seeking a Sales Support Associate for our Walmart division. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, team player, detailed-oriented, organized, self-motivated and display a high level of commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This position is based in Pittstown NJ and reports directly to the Walmart Account Manager team.
Responsibilities:
Manage Phones and provide exceptional customer service
Act as a liaison between Field Team, Shipping, Customers and Home Office
Administrative functions including delivery schedules and EDI tasks
Work within proprietary software to enter and retrieve information
Order and Data Entry as needed
Run and publish reports daily using Excel
Work with various departments on miscellaneous projects, as needed.
Requirements
Positive attitude with a can-do mentality
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
Able to communicate clearly, both written and verbally.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Photoshop experience is a plus.
Basic math skills with retail math being a plus
Ability to cross-train with other departments, as needed.
Must be adaptable to fit the needs of the business
Must be able to work additional weekday hours and Saturdays to meet the demands of the business during the busy season.
