Responsibilities and Duties:
Support the upkeep of customer schedules, providing valuable feedback from operations to enhance overall efficiency.
Lead the data entry segment of our contract review process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with documented standard work.
Interact and provide support to production and purchasing groups, fostering effective cross-functional communication.
Coordinate quote activities and manage the necessary paperwork for hardware shipments, addressing any discrepancies.
Screen and process bids, contributing to the overall success of our quoting process.
Develop a framework based on customer demand, raw material availability, and production capacity to positively influence the On-Time Delivery Metric.
Verify and enter POs into the system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Attend interdepartmental and customer meetings, actively participating in discussions on specific agenda issues.
Efficiently manage the incoming quote log, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
Utilize CAD skills to design manufacturing drawings for new parts, optimizing for the most efficient manufacturing process. Revise drawings for existing parts as needed.
Obtain price quotations from outside vendors for required operations, contributing to cost-effective decision-making.
Generate accurate cost estimates using information from Purchasing, Process Engineering, Metallurgy, and Outside Vendors.
Manage the order routing document tracker to ensure timely placement of raw material orders.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Computer Skills in Microsoft Office Programs
Ability to interact with all departments and have positive team interaction
Strong ERP (Oracle) and computer skills
Purchase Orders, Post-Sales Support, Delivery Schedule, Internal Meetings, Delivery Times, Operations
