Summary
CHS is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to directly support and be a business partner for our wholesale key account executives. By working closely with these directors of key accounts in partnership with our wholesale agronomy, grain, energy and animal nutrition go-to-market organization, the position will optimize workflows, streamline processes, develop and maintain engaging content and documents and be a key contributor to the success of our wholesale key account team. The ideal candidate earns trust through servant leadership, performance, relationship building and thinking strategically about customer challenges and opportunities, always keeping the customer at the center of everything they do.
Preference will be given to a hybrid schedule and officing out of our corporate a minimum 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with key account executives to support their needs, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the key account executives and other internal teams to ensure alignment
Develop and deliver presentations and content for both internal and external engagement, working with communications, marketing and product teams to ensure messaging is consistent and engaging
Maintain and update data and information gathered from key account engagements, including needs assessment and annual business review materials
Assist in the management of go-to-market’s SharePoint and intranet sites
Provide schedule management support to the key account executives
Manage ad hoc project requests to support the broader Sales Operations team
Minimum Qualifications (required)
High School diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Business Operations
Additional Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and cross-functionally
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating compelling content
Proficient in CRM (Dynamics Sales), Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel and other digital tools
Demonstrated ability to improve processes and increase efficiency
Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
