Role
EDB is looking for a Sales Director for Global Strategic Accounts Team covering handful of large strategic enterprise customers on a global basis
Purpose
Establish EDB as a strategic vendor of choice in a handful of truly global customers or prospects, resulting in a systematic expanding multi million $ annual revenue.
Accounts to be targeted
Accounts that are fitting our core market sweet spot (sophisticated high volume data processors) such as BFSI (Banks, payment platforms), Telcos, … but that have truly global decision epicenters as well as distributed IT consumption.
Value Add.
Enhance, replicate and amplify local engagements (APAC, EMEA, USA) by coordinating, developing, enhancing the depth and the relevance of the engagement aligning EDBs actions with the customer strategic objectives. Such as Operational excellence, Innovation, Cost reduction
Experience
Track record of leading Global account teams covering the 3 epicenters
Experience in BFSI and ideally Telco accounts
C level conversation and engagement acumen, and Customer QBR experience
Team leadership experience in an international software vendor environment
Requirements
Ability to travel cross continents on a regular basis
Ability to work with several time zones during the week
Skills Needed
English as a native or fluent language, 2nd or 3rd language are a plus
Value Selling track record and methodology
Good understanding of data, ai, analytics, cloud technologies and their business impact
